Fried Doughnuts

Ingredients:

  • 2 eggs
  • 6 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 6 tablespoons milk
  • 6 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 packet baking soda
  • Zest of one lemon
  • Flour as needed (400 to 450 g)
  • Sugar and cinnamon

Preparation:

  1. Heat the oil with lemon zest and let it cool.
  2. Beat the eggs and add the oil with the milk, continue beating, add cinnamon and sugar. Incorporate the flour and mix well. Let it rest.
  3. With oiled hands, take a portion of dough and shape it into a doughnut. Fry over moderate heat.
  4. Roll them in a mixture of sugar and cinnamon.
